¡@ Shionogi & Co., Ltd. was established in 1878 in Osaka, Japan. At present, we have founded 4 research laboratories (Shionogi Research Lab., Development Research Lab., Shionogi Institute for Medical Science and Aburahi Lab.) and 4 manufacturing plants (Kuise, Sittsu, Akoh and Kanegasaki). In response to the government's regulation of encouraging foreigners' investment, Taiwan Shionogi & Co., Ltd. was organized in 1963. For contributing to the medical and pharmaceutical education of Taiwan and training the professional scholars, Taiwan Shionogi has offered the¡uShionogi Scholarship¡vto local medical colleges since 1969.
¡@ Sep. 1963, the authorities approved Shionogi to construct the Liudu plant.
¡@ Nov. 1964, the first plant building had been established.
