Taiwan’s first research park operated by an interagency committee was officially inaugurated. According to Academia Sinica President James C. Liao (廖俊智), Academia Sinica will harness its world’s leading life sciences research to advance national development in future by focusing on research and development for translational medicine, providing technological platforms and transferring state-of-the-art technologies to innovative companies.
