NTU Hospital doctor faces a fine of up to NT$100,000 for illegally selling drugs

National Taiwan University Hospital has concluded the investigation into a doctor with the surname Wu who was suspected of directing patients to buy Recormon from an unlicensed seller at a lower-than-market- prize. The Taipei City Department of Health said that Wu admitted issuing prescriptions and filing medical records without personal examination. The division chief of medical affairs He Shu-an said that Wu will be fined between NT$20,000 and NT$100,000 for violating the Physicians Act.
